The course was very comprehensive. The neurophysiology/neuropsychology presentations were science-based and specific to my goals.
Continuing Education
Renew Yourself While Earning Continuing Education Credits
Mindfulness and meditation can be powerful supports for the life and work of healing arts professionals. Spirit Rock offers continuing education for psychologists, therapists, social workers, counselors, nurses, and others in many of our programs.
Learn more about our continuing education programs below, or go directly to our Calendar to find upcoming programs that offer continuing education. Some self-paced home study courses in our Library also offer homestudy Continuing Education. Depending on the length and content of the program, up to 22 CE Credits/contact hours are available.
Continuing Education Policies
Attendance
To be eligible for CE credits, participants are required to:
Register and pay for the CE fee prior to the start of the program, by 4:30 p.m. the business day before the program
Attend in full: Incomplete attendance nullifies CE eligibility, as board regulations do not permit partial credit for partial attendance. Certificates are issued only to those who meet the attendance requirements—without exception—to maintain compliance with our provider licenses and ensure the continuation of future CE programs
Submit professional information for the certificate within one week of receiving the link
Attendance will be tracked automatically and verified as follows:
Live, online programs
- Join the program on time by a web browser or Zoom App, not dialing in by phone.
Use the same email to join Zoom as used to register for the program; this enables attendance tracking.
Stay logged in and engaged for the duration of the program.
It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure adequate internet reliability and bandwidth
Continuing Education for live programs requires live attendance; recordings of live programs are not eligible for CE credit.
Non-Residential in-person programs
Check in at the CE table within 15 minutes of the start of the program, each day if multiple days.
Check out at the CE table at the end of the program, each day if multiple days.
Residential in-person programs
Check in for CE instructions in the Council House at the beginning of the retreat, during the regular check-in period.
Check in at the CE table, in the retreat hall foyer, within 5 minutes of the start of each required session. A list of required sessions will be posted with the retreat schedule and available at retreat check-in in the Council House.
On-demand/homestudy programs
Complete all sections of the course and all assessments.
Pass a comprehensive assessment at the end of the course, with a criterion of at least 75%. The assessment may be repeated if necessary.
Cancellation Policy
Open credits are available for the Continuing Education fee when requested prior to midnight the night before the program
No open credits are available on the day of the program or later
Refunds are not available for the Continuing Education fee, including for situations where the attendance requirements are not met (e.g. failure to sign out during an in-person event).
To request an open credit, please contact the Registration Department at [email protected].
Canceled Programs
Spirit Rock rarely cancels a program, but in the unlikely event that we do, all registered participants will be notified by phone and email, and the cancellation notice will be posted on our website. A refund will be issued within 7-10 business days.

Important Notes:
- Participants with incomplete attendance will not be notified of their incomplete status.
